We Believe - Essentials

 

• There is one God in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
• God is a sovereign Being Who needs nothing from nature nor mankind and is the source of all life to His creation.

• The Bible contains all the truth that we need to answer God's invitation for a personal relationship with God the Son, Jesus Christ, where anyone can be adopted into the family of God regardless of their past sins or bad choices. God loves us because He is love.

• Everyone is born with a natural inclination to sin. We sin by nature, we sin by habit and we sin by choice.
• Just as sin ultimately brings death, seeking forgiveness through trusting faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ brings restoration and eternal life to all who seek Him. He welcomes all to join Him in His coming Kingdom.
• Effective life change begins when we follow Jesus Christ. Jesus takes us as He finds us but He will not leave us there. He will bring into our life the freshness of a new life in Him for nothing is impossible with God.
• God gives every person gifts, abilities, and experiences that can be used to help others and give Him glory.
• God empowers us to live a life that is becoming increasingly more like Jesus Christ.
